This smoothie is a delicious, nutrient-packed combination of fruits, veggies and quality protein. I drink this as a meal replacement, generally for breakfast, as a way to get an abundant amount of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to start my day. It keeps me full for hours!

Ingredients
 8 oz almond milk
 1 banana
 ½ cup cherries
 1 cup spinach
 ½ cup cauliflower
 ¼ cup oats
 1 tbsp chia seeds
 1 scoop protein powder
 1 tbsp cacao powder
 ½ cup ice cubes

Directions

Blend all ingredients together in a blender on high speed until smooth.

Substitutions

Feel free to substitute the almond milk with any milk of choice, including regular dairy, soy, rice or oat milk. You may also substitute water for a decrease in calories.

Cherries can be replaced with raspberries, blackberries, strawberries or blueberries (I prefer to mix it up between cherries and blueberries. Both excellent choices for this smoothie).

For a creamier texture and a higher-calorie shake, you can use 1/2 an avocado in place of or in addition to the banana.

I prefer to utilize frozen fruits and vegetables for a colder and creamier shake. If you do implement this method, you can decrease the ice a bit to compensate.
