Weight Loss Challenge – Day 27

Goal: To Lose 25 pounds in 30 days. No fad diets. No gimmicks. No surgery. Just solid nutrition and lots of exercise.

This is DAY 27 of the 30-Day weight loss challenge. If you are here for the first time, greetings, but you are extremely late to the party. Before you read any further, be sure you see where this whole thing started on DAY ONE before reading any further, then pop back over and see how things progressed for me today. Finally, after reading my update for today, if you want to see any of the 30 daily posts, documenting each day of the 30-day challenge, you can find a link at the end of this article.

There is not going to be a weight update for today, as I am not weighing myself again until the last day of the challenge, but, there is a progress picture for DAY 27. Let’s take a look.

Before and after weight loss / Day 27

There was no weigh-in today, and there will not be one again until the last day of the challenge. I will continue to work vigorously and bust my ass each day until the challenge ends, in an attempt to lose the last nine pounds. I have eliminated carbs from my diet, with the exception of vegetables. As you will see below in the nutrition section below, I am still consuming a good amount of veggies. But for the next few days will eliminate fruit, starches, and sugar of any kind from the diet. Let’s take a look at the nutrition and diet for the day.

Final Thoughts

I want to thank you so much for reading, and I hope you find some motivation for yourself to get into the best shape of your life. As a single dad, I know it can be tough to find the time or even the motivation to take care of ourselves in the way that we know that we should, but it needs to be a priority.

The 30-Day weight loss challenge transformation isn’t where this all started for me. In case you are wondering where my journey began, it was seven years ago when I first lost 50 pounds in 90 days. I weighed in over 330 pounds and was beginning to feel the effects of my obesity for the first time in my life. I was a new dad and I knew that I needed to do something about it if I wanted to be alive and well for my kids as they grow up.

Be sure to check out the article about my initial transformation and there is a picture for you below so you can see how far I have come. I know that if I can do it, you can too!
